1937 Rudge Special 500cc
Here is a superb example of one of the top bikes of the 1930's the Rudge Special.
Starts really easily and runs a treat, goes very well indeed with good brakes and good handling. Charging system working correctly.
Speedo working. The bike has had £6000 spent on restoration, all documented.
Some finer detailing would take to the next level but is a fine example as she stands, has covered some 300 miles since restoration and is basically ready to enjoy.
V5C original registration, believed original engine to frame (Rudge Club say it almost certainly is but I don;t think they have actual factory despatch records, I supposed they were destroyed in the Blitz.)
A rare and superior pre-war classic.
