1972 BMW R75/5 750cc

Here is a fabulous true classic motorcycle of the early 70's the BMW R75/5. Costing double the price of a Norton Commando or Triumph Bonneville in 1972 these practical tourers have remained sought after ever since.

This example is in excellent, very honest , original unrestored condition. It is a UK bike from new not an import. Still has original registration dating from 20/1/1972.

It starts well , new gel battery fitted, electric start is very good, (unlike early British e-starts at the time!).

It has original engine & frame VIN plaque and stamped numbers all correct.

Rides beautifully, 4 speed, good brakes , speedo works, rev counter works. Rare to see the U.S. spec smaller tank on a British bike, but this does help keep the weight and size down,

Excellent Sure-foot sidestand fitted. Unattractive but practical windscreen, (can easily be removed).

Lovely set of Krauser panniers which are pretty well like new. They are exactly as the originals with keys.
