1958 AJS model 20 , 500cc.

Here's a really nice example of the AJS 500cc twin. A very easy starter, sweet and smooth runner, lovely to ride good handling good brakes. Charging properly with modern solid state regulator. Good gears and clutch, this old Ajay is a real pleasure to ride. A great bike in their day these lovely 500 twins are often overlooked these days and deserve to be appreciated and ridden around. They are ideal classics, perfect for the B roads and back lanes yet still a fair turn of speed if needed in short bursts up the by-pass.

Don't miss this handsome and underpriced classic AJS from the late 50's. (Note 1958 models have the alloy primary chaincases which were a big improvement from the old tin chaincases.)Does have an oil leak from cylinder base gasket so that job will need doing soon.
