1952 Matchless G80S, 500cc.

Lovely old girl! A really nice, used, tidy but showing age sort of motorcycle. Usually the best sort of condition to buy them in, well settled well sorted and mechanically undisturbed for some time. This example starts easily sounds great, quiet mechanically, no knocks or rattles and no smoke. Charging system is working correctly. Smith's 120mph speedo is  working well. (recent replacement).

The bike rides beautifully, a traditional old thumper. Good gears and clutch decent brakes. Dual seat was optional for 1952, the bike has the mounting points for a single saddle if the more classic look is preferred. New Amal 289 pre monobloc carb fitted, (these cost around £400!)

Comes with V5c, Historic Class taxation class.
