1926 Raleigh 250cc Model 14

Here is an ideal, lightweight vintage machine, capable of participating in most typical vintage bike events such as Banbury etc.

Very easy to start, rides really well with very sweet little 4 stroke sidevalve engine.

A very famous name in and around Nottingham, Raleigh did eventually leave the motorcycle market to concentrate on mopeds and bicycles but their motorcycles are held in very good regard by vintage enthusiasts.

This example is very brisk and nimble for a 250cc. It is nice and light and handles well, no front brake only rear which is good.

Gears and clutch are all spot on. This is a charming and very enjoyable little bike to ride. A delightful addition to any collection but also a great little bike up and running really well and ready to enter the vintage motorcycling scene.
