1958 Matchless G9 500cc

This Matchless came to me having been restored but never quite finished. There was very little to do, fuel lines, some wiring, chaincase screws etc. The bike started easily and sounds very good. It has a loud raspy exhaust note as if there is hardly and baffling in the silencer. Rides very well, good brakes, speedo working, electrics charging good lights. Gears and clutch good.

The bike is ready to run-in. It will need to be bedded in with some staedy miles under the belt. The new pattern seat is functional but the rear mounting holes won't quite line up with the bolt holes in the subframe.

Comes with V5C doc. Historic taxation.
