1967 BSA GB40, ex army £1995

Fabulous "time-capsule" piece of cold war motorcycling history.

The unit 350 BSA B40 was supplied to the British army in the late 60's as a beefed up (but not souped up) version of the civvy B40.

It was made for reliability not performance but most owners opt to at least upgrade the carb to an Amal concentric for a few extra BHP.

The model features 12V zener diode electrics as standard and it working well.

The engine in the matching original, this is a low mileage example. Engine starts easily and sounds perfect mechanically. Gearbox and clutch all good.

An interesting historical motorcycle which deserves to be properly recommissioned for service.

More photos to come . Registered in 1976 as MNK904P. The bike has been unused since the late 70's.
